Based near The Villages, Florida, Dr. Eddie Orobitg has provided general dentistry services to Leesburg and the surrounding communities for nearly three decades. He began his dental career with the United States Navy in 1996, and received a National Defense Service Medal before his honorable discharge in 1999.
He has provided an array of philanthropic dental services during his career, in collaboration with local churches and as a supporter of the Dental Bus in Fruitland Park. He has also been involved in activities that provide support to veterans of our country's Armed Forces.
After graduating with honors from the University of Florida with a degree in zoology, Dr. Orobitg earned his dentistry degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry, and completed an advanced education general dentistry program with the United States Navy. He has completed ongoing post-graduate training at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study, the International Team for Implantology (ITI) – the largest international academic organization for professionals in implant dentistry and related tissue regeneration — various implant and soft-tissue seminars, and membership in the American Orthodontic Society.
Apart from his dental work in Leesburg, Dr. Eddie Orobitg is an active supporter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society, and completed numerous MS cycling rides over the years. He and his family enjoy sports, health, and fitness activities, many of which they participate in together, as well as outdoor activities which have included biking, fishing, swimming and boating. He also completed multiple Ironman Triathlon races.
